La présente Recommandation définit des essais (ou tests) conçus pour vérifier si les flux binaires et les décodeurs sont conformes aux prescriptions normatives définies dans la Rec. UIT-T H.264 | ISO/CEI 14496-10:
• Un codeur peut revendiquer la conformité à la Rec. UIT-T H.264 | ISO/CEI 14496-10 si les flux binaires qu'il génère sont des flux binaires conformes.
• Un décodeur peut revendiquer la conformité à un profil ou niveau déterminé de la Rec. UIT-T H.264 s'il permet de décoder de façon appropriée tous les flux binaires obéissant aux contraintes définies dans la Rec. UIT-T H.264 | ISO/CEI 14496-10.Les essais définis dans la présente Recommandation utilisent des méthodes (non exhaustives) pour déterminer si les codeurs et les décodeurs sont conformes à ces prescriptions.Le présent texte commun à l'ISO/CEI a été élaboré conjointement dans le cadre de l'Equipe mixte sur la vidéo (JVT, joint video team) et a été soumis à l'ISO/CEI JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11 (MPEG) sous la cote ISO/CEI 14496-4:2002/Amendement 6 (2005 E) et ISO/CEI 14496-4:2004/Amendement 9.Le Corrigendum 1 à la Rec. UIT-T H.264.1 (09/2005), qui a été intégré dans la présente Recommandation, vise à améliorer la concordance de la présente Recommandation avec le texte de la Norme ISO/CEI établi en concertation sur le plan technique, à corriger des erreurs et à ajouter des essais pour certaines fonctionnalités requises qui n'ont pas fait l'objet d'essais dans la version précédente.Les flux binaires conformes énumérés dans la Rec. UIT-T H.264.1 sont disponibles dans un fichier électronique joint à la présente Recommandation. |
