La Recommandation UIT-T J.1202 spécifie l'architecture d'un système d'exploitation de télévision (TVOS) intelligente sur les réseaux câblés intégrés de radiodiffusion et large bande (IBB). Un système de TVOS intelligente est destiné à être installé dans un boîtier-décodeur (STB) câblé compatible IBB et un téléviseur pour qu'ils prennent en charge la diffusion des services de radiodiffusion et des services interactifs fondés sur le protocole Internet fournis par les opérateurs de télévision par câble et par des tiers. Grâce à un système de TVOS intelligente, le boîtier-décodeur compatible IBB et le téléviseur sont en mesure de fournir aux abonnés de manière intelligente des services évolués et personnalisés moyennant le téléchargement et l'installation d'applications évoluées et personnalisées à partir des plates-formes des câblo-opérateurs et de plates-formes de tiers qui sont interconnectées avec celles des câblo-opérateurs. |
