La Recommandation UIT-T H.248.78 définit un paquetage qui permet de communiquer à un contrôleur de passerelle média (MGC) les messages d'un protocole d'application au niveau du support (par ex. du protocole de transmission en continu en temps réel (RTSP) ou du protocole de relais pour l'envoi de messages (MSRP)) reçus par une passerelle média. Le contrôleur MGC peut ainsi assurer une fonctionnalité de passerelle au niveau application comme la traduction d'adresse réseau concernant les messages puis transmettre les messages à la passerelle média pour envoi à la destination. |
