El constante aumento de la demanda del servicio telefónico internacional, junto con la introducción de sistemas de transmisión y conmutación digitales de mayor capacidad así como de señalización por canal común, ha dado como resultado una red telefónica internacional sumamente interconectada e interactiva y cada vez más sensible a la sobrecarga y a la congestión. En esta Recomendación revisada se ofrece un panorama general de las actividades necesarias para reducir los efectos sobre el servicio de toda situación que afecte desfavorablemente a la red telefónica internacional. |
