La Recomendación UIT-T J.1027 especifica la arquitectura de sistema para los sistemas de acceso condicional descargable (DCAS) unidireccional para redes unidireccionales. El DCAS unidireccional protege los contenidos o servicios de radiodifusión y controla los derechos del consumidor, al igual que los sistemas tradicionales de acceso condicional (CA), y permite que los terminales, por ejemplo, los decodificadores, se adapten al nuevo sistema CA descargando e instalando el nuevo cliente del sistema CA sin cambiar el hardware. En concreto, el DCAS unidireccional puede funcionar plenamente en redes unidireccionales de televisión (TV) por cable y en otras redes unidireccionales, como las de televisión por satélite. |
