La Recomendación UIT-T L.1002 define los requisitos y proporciona directrices sobre los aspectos ambientales de las soluciones de adaptador universal de alimentación de energía (UPA) para su uso con dispositivos TIC portátiles. Complementa las Recomendaciones UIT-T L.1000 y L.1001 y pretende abarcar la gama más amplia posible de dispositivos TIC de uso portátil dentro de rangos identificados de tensión y potencia. En primer lugar, se describen configuraciones básicas de las UPA que constan de un bloque adaptador de potencia con un cable de entrada desenchufable y un cable de salida desenchufable para la conexión del dispositivo TIC. Asimismo se hacen diversas recomendaciones generales sobre los adaptadores universales de alimentación de energía y sus interfaces, incluidos cables, conectores, tensión, corriente, ruido de rizado, eficiencia energética, potencia en vacío, seguridad, compatibilidad electromagnética, resistividad y especificaciones ecoambientales. Todas las recomendaciones se han establecido con el objetivo de reducir los residuos eléctricos y electrónicos y aumentar la usabilidad. |
