أنظمة الإرسال من الجيل الثالث لخدمات التلفزيون الكبلي التفاعلي ( المودمات الكبلية لبروتوكول الإنترنت: التحكم في النفاذ إلى الوسط (MAC) وبروتوكولات الطبقة العليا

التوصية ITU-T J.222.2 هي جزء من سلسلة من التوصيات التي تحدد الجيل الثالث للبيانات عالية السرعة عبر أنظمة الكبلات. وقد وضعت هذه التوصية لفائدة صناعة الاتصالات عبر الكبلات، وهي تتضمن مساهمات من مشغلين وبائعين من أمريكا الشمالية وأوروبا ومناطق أخرى. وتُدخِل أنظمة الجيل الثالث للإرسال عدداً من الميزات الجديدة التي بنيت على ما كان موجوداً في التوصيات السابقة (التوصيتان J.112 وJ.122). وتشمل هذه التوصية الميزات الرئيسية الجديدة للسطح البيني لبروتوكولات طبقة التحكم في النفاذ إلى الوسائط (MAC) وتحدد بروتوكولات طبقة التحكم في النفاذ إلى الوسائط وكذلك متطلبات بروتوكولات الطبقة العليا (على سبيل المثال، IP وDHCP، وغيرها).
