مواصفات سطح بيني لخدمة البيانات عبر الكبل: توصيف السطح البيني للترددات الراديوية

يحدد الملحق B مواصفات الواجهات للترددات الراديوية من أجل أنظمة نقل البيانات عالية السرعة في الكبل. وهنالك خياران لتكنولوجيا الطبقة المادية يتسمان بأولوية متساوية ولا تُشترط إمكانية التشغيل بينهما. ويقوم خيار التكنولوجيا الأول على أساس توزيع التلفزيون المتعدد البرامج في الوصلة الهابطة الذي ينشر باستخدام قنوات من MHz 6، ويدعم الإرسال في الوصلة الصاعدة في مجال MHz 42-5. ويقوم خيار التكنولوجيا الثاني على أساس توزيع التلفزيون المتعدد البرامج باستخدام مباعدة قنوات بمقدار MHz 8 ويدعم الإرسال في الوصلة الصاعدة في مجال MHz 65-5. ويتمتع الخياران بنفس المكانة. ويرد تحديد الخيار الأول في البنود B.4 وB.6 وB.7، أما الخيار الثاني فهو محدد باستبدال محتوى هذه البنود بمحتوى الملحق B.N. وأزيل الملحق B.O "الخصوصية في عمليات تنفيذ المودم الكبلي" في الملحق الأسبق B/J.112 حيث أصبحت التوصية ITU-T J.125 القائمة بذاتها.
