رسائل معلومات التعزيز المكملة متعددة الاستخدامات من أجل قطارات بتات الفيديو المشفرة

تحدد التوصية ITU-T H.274 قواعد التركيب والدلالات لمعلمات معلومات إمكانية استعمال الفيديو ‏‎(VUI)‎‏ ورسائل معلومات ‏التحسين التكميلية (‏SEI‏) لاستخدامها في تدفقات البتات الفيديوية المشفرة. ويمكن نقل معلمات ‏VUI‏ ورسائل ‏SEI‏ المعرَّفة في ‏هذه التوصية ضمن تدفقات بتات فيديوية مشفرة بطريقة محددة في مواصفة تشفير فيديوي أو يمكن نقلها بوسائل أخرى على ‏النحو المحدد في مواصفات الأنظمة التي تستعمل تدفقات البتات الفيديوية المشفرة هذه. وهذه التوصية مصممة خصيصاً ‏للاستعمال مع تدفقات البتات الفيديوية المشفرة على النحو المحدد في التوصية ITU-T H.266 | المعيار ISO/IEC 23090-3، على الرغم من أنها صيغت بطريقة تهدف إلى أن تكون متعددة الاستخدامات بشكل كاف وعام بحيث يمكن أيضاً ‏استخدامها مع أنواع أخرى من تدفقات البتات الفيديوية المشفرة.‏‏وتضيف الطبعة الثالثة أربع رسائل جديدة لمعلومات التحسين التكميلية متعددة الاستخدامات (‎VSEI) ‏لتدفقات البتات الفيديوية المشفرة، وتشمل أيضاً تصويبات وتحسينات صياغية لمختلف العيوب الطفيفة في المحتوى السابق لهذه التوصية. وأدرجت التغييرات كتعديلات على أقسام النص التي كانت موجودة سابقاً في التوصية ‎H.274 V2.وقد وُضعت هذه التوصية بالتعاون مع اللجنة ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29 وهي تقابل المعيار ISO/IEC 230027 بمثابة نص توأم تقنياً.
