توصف التوصية ITU-T G.9701 تكنولوجيا للنفاذ عريض النطاق بسرعات الجيغابتة تستخدم البنية التحتية القائمة للأسلاك المزاوجة التي كان قد تم نشرها من قبل في الأساس لخدمات الهاتف التقليدية العادية (POTS). ويمكن نشر المعدات المنفذة لهذه التوصية من نقاط توزيع مغذاة بالألياف (توصيل الألياف إلى نقطة التوزيع (FTTdp)) الواقعة قريباً جداً من منشآت العملاء. وتتضمن التوصية ITU-T K.118 المعلومات الضرورية للتمكن من حماية عقدة نقطة توزيع (DP) في شبكة النفاذ والتجهيزات المرتبطة بها في منشآت العملاء. وتتضمن معلومات عن متطلبات مقاومة التجهيزات ومستوى الحماية من الصواعق، عندما يتحتم تركيب وسيلة للحماية ومعلومات عن كيفية تركيب وسيلة الحماية هذه. |
