وتصف هذه التوصية شروط القياس المتعلقة بالمحطات القاعدة المختلفة كمحطة قاعدة كبرية ومحطة قاعدة موزعة ومحطة قاعدة صغرى ومحطة قاعدة متناهية الصغر ومحطة قاعدة ذات هوائي مدمج ومحطة قاعدة ذات هوائي منفعل؛ وتحدد أيضاً معايير الأداء لاختبارات الحصانة.
