بروتوكول التحكم في البوابة: بوابة مستوى الحمالة ومستوى التطبيق

تعرف التوصية ITU-T H.248.78 رزمة تسمح بإرسال رسائل بروتوكول التطبيق على مستوى الحمالة (مثل بروتوكول بث تدفقات الوسائط في الوقت الفعلي (RTSP) أو بروتوكول ترحيل دورة الرسائل (MSRP)) التي تستقبلها بوابة الوسائط إلى أداة التحكم في بوابة الوسائط (MGC). ويسمح ذلك لأداة التحكم تلك بالقيام بوظائف البوابة على مستوى التطبيق مثل ترجمة عناوين الشبكات على الرسائل ثم إحالة الرسائل إلى بوابة الوسائط لإرسالها إلى المقصد. وتشمل هذه المراجعة تحديثاً للإحالة إلى البروتوكول MSRP بشكل سليم.
