The term NGN is commonly used to give a name to the changes to the service provision infrastructures that have already started in the telecommunication industry especially in developing countries. With the creation of new technologies such as SDN and the continuous evolution of next generation network, emerging technologies and functionalities has been integrated into the networks of developing countries. Besides, considering the limitation on varies types of resources in developing countries,, it is of important needs to specify a standardized solution for applying NGNe in these countries, which will bring significant benefits to network operators, service providers, and end users, for the reason that NGNe has enhanced capabilities thus promote the development of communications network and service in developing countries. This Supplement specifies the general considerations, use cases and expectations of next generation network evolution in Developing Countries.
