Summary: By adopting the notion of orchestration in NGNe, end to end orchestration between traditional network devices and SDN/NFV enabled networks could be obtained, and the coordination between the cloud and the network could also be achieved. The orchestration in NGNe has already been studied in SG13 and SG11 including ITU-T Y.2323 (Requirements and capabilities of orchestration in NGNe), ITU-T Y.2324 (Functional architecture of orchestration in NGNe.) and ITU-T Q.3058 (Signalling architecture of orchestration in NGNe.), which standardized the requirements and capabilities, functional architecture and signalling architecture of NGNe orchestration. Interoperability testing of orchestration in NGNe is to verify that NGNe orchestration can interact with NMS, SDNO, NFVO and CMS as expected to support coexistence and corporation of traditional network and SDN/NFV enabled networks and cloud computing platforms. To ensure the interoperability of NGNe orchestration, guideline for general testing requirements, objective and specification test procedures are needed. This draft Recommendation focus on interoperability testing of orchestration in NGNe with NMS, SDNO, NFVO and CMS according to the framework, capability requirements, functionalities and reference points defined in ITU Y.2323, ITU-T Y.2324 and ITU-T Q.3058. This draft Recommendation would provide reference for standardizing the service interface between NGNe orchestration and coordinated networks, achieving end to end orchestration and improving the deployment efficiency.
