Summary:
|
No-reference video quality models are well suited to measure video quality for real-time services like live video telephony and video conferencing systems. Many of these services use a transmission over RTP/UDP, which is often encrypted. In case these video services use a H.264 video encoding Recommendation J.343.1 is very-well suited.
Some services use already H.265 encoding of the video, and more are expected in the near future, to benefit from lower bandwidth requirements of H.265 compared to H.264.
