Summary:

The postproduction service of smart farming defines the stage that the final products are delivered from producer to consumers on the network. It deals with the process of product packaging and distribution from producer to consumer. This focus on the following;
- Reference model for postproduction service including specialization, centralization of product delivery, and just-in-time delivery system on the network.
- Defining a significant function component on postproduction stage. The producer plays a significant role in economy being one of the main contributors to the many customers
- Requirement for postproduction service of effective product distribution which requires delivering the right product, in the right quantity, in the right condition, to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost and the role of ICT
- Product delivery service scenario for effective product distribution flow encompassing globalization marketing on the network
