En la Recomendación UIT-T L.10 se describen las características, la construcción y los métodos de prueba de los cables de fibra óptica para aplicaciones en conductos y galerías. En primer lugar, se describen las características que debe poseer el cable para que la calidad de funcionamiento de la fibra óptica sea suficiente. Por otra parte, se describe el método para determinar si el cable posee esas características. Las condiciones necesarias pueden ser diferentes según el entorno de instalación. A esos efectos, el usuario y el proveedor deben acordar precisamente las condiciones de experimentación adecuadas al entorno de utilización del cable. |
