Dhananjay Kumar received his undergraduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Institution ofS4.3Dhananjay Kumar.jpg
Engineers (India), Calcutta, in the year 1997.

He was rewarded a Master of Engineering (M. E.) degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, in the year 1999 and subsequently a Master of Technology (M. Tech.) degree in Communication Engineering at the Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry in the year 2001. A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degree was conferred to him by Anna University, Chennai in the year 2009 for his research work on high quality multimedia support in next generation multi-carrier wireless mobile networks. Currently he is the Professor-in-charge of undergraduate program in the department of Information Technology, Anna University, MIT, Chennai.Dr. Dhananjay Kumar is developing a system to support medical video streaming over 3G wireless networks which is sponsored by the University Grant Commission of Government of India, New Delhi. His present research work includes video streaming, multimedia surveillance, and cognitive radio systems.
