Alex Kyalo is a final year Telecommunications Engineering student from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya. He has had early level exposure to regulatory framework through CAK where he was an intern as well practical knowledge working with Nokia Siemens Kenya, Airtel and KK Security Group of Companies. Through academia, he has understanding of QoE and QoS in Telecommunications and the various technologies at play at present and future technologies.
Alex is an active member of IEEE Kenya Section focusing on the Computer Society, lobbying and organization of innovation competitions for students to present their projects at the national level. He is currently the president of the local chapter of IEEE at his university. He hopes to play a major role in the steering of the regulatory framework around the implementation of IoT systems and services in the near future.
