Joseph is currently working as a Consumer Affairs Specialist at the Uganda Communications Commission. Joseph has also worked as a Customer Service Officer in the private sector, then as the Principal Air Transport Officer in Charge of Consumer Protection with Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda. In carrying out his duties Joseph has mastered skills in stakeholder dialogue, development of redress mechanism, and mass communication skills in a public private partnership arrangement.
Joseph has overseen the implementation of several nationwide and regional outreach campaigns on regulatory issues.
Sector involvement: From 2009 Joseph has been the Consumer Affairs Specialist of the Commission, charged with raising public awareness, consumer Complaints resolution, Liaising with Civil Society and Consumer Advocacy Organizations among others. He has traversed and networked with different stakeholders in all parts of Uganda.
EACO Work: Joseph has been an active member of the EACO Consumer Affairs Working Group and has been involved in the development of regional Consumer Protection Guideline. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Working Group.
