MÁRQUES ESCOBAR Carlos Pablo

Carlos Pablo Márquez Escobar is a lawyer and bachelor of Philosophy at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), with Master degree in Economics, Master’s degree in Legal Sciences from Harvard University and PhD in Competition Law from the University of Oxford.
 
Among other positions, he has served as a research professor at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Externado, EAFIT (Escuela de Administración y Finanzas e Instituto Tecnológico) and Universidad del Rosario. In the public sector, has been an advisor to of the Ministry of Interior and Justice and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
He has served as international speaker at Fordham University, Columbia University, Catholic University of Lima, King's College of London, Popeu Fabra University, ITAM and UC Berkeley, among others. Prior to his appointment in the CRC, he served as Delegate for the Protection of Competition at the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
