Nicolas Andrieu is Director, Operators Middle-East and India. He is responsible for creating strategic and tactical plans that maximize growth and development and for accelerating the Sigfox global expansion efforts in the region.
Before joining Sigfox in 2015, Nicolas started his career in Yemen at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995. In 1995, he relocated to Paris and joined Dassault Electronique and then Thales, the french defence electronics giant where he was heading Middle East business development and sales for electronic warfare solutions.
In 2000, He joined Vivendi Unversal as General Manager for Asia Pacific, Sales and Operation. He supported and managed during five years the sales process and the implementation of several TV digital platforms in this region.
Prior to joining Sigfox, he spent five years until 2009 at Expway, a start-up editing metadata management software for the media&telecom industry where he was responsible to develop globally the sales and the strategic alliances. He then founded in 2009 and run a strategy advisor firm in the telecom space.
Nicolas is a graduate from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) in Paris and holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School.

Massive IoT could be enabled across all industry as soon as four main connectivity challenges are unlocked. The end-users will then benefit from the data availability, triggering new processes and use cases such as tracking assets, predictive maintenance, securing and managing people remotely, etc.
