Ms. Owen is a U.S. environmental lawyer with 20 years experience in advising clients with activities in Latin America. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Ms. Owen is bi-national (U.S and Mexican citizenship) and multilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, English, Italian and French). Upon graduation from the University of Texas School of Law with a J.D. and High Honors in 1995, Ms. Owen worked in the international and environmental sections of Baker Botts, LLP.
Since 1998, she has been in private practice, counseling companies on their environmental, health and safety obligations and sustainability initiatives in Mexico, Central and South America. Her practice includes regulatory tracking and product stewardship counseling for the technology sector in Latin America.
