Derick has close to ten (10) years experience in Telecommunications sector covering Compliance Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Project Design and Reporting on various subjects. He represents the Commission on matters of ICT Environmental safety Covering Evaluation of EMF/NIR exposure and Mitigation measure. The work involves Verification and Resolution of customer complaints on EMF exposure and quality of service. He is also the lead person in Monitoring and Assessment of Quality of Service performance for telecommunication services. He is a researcher on New and Emerging Technologies within the Research team at the CCK. His leadership responsibilities include production and management of the Inspection and Monitoring program annually. He represents the Commission in ITU-T Study Group 5 on Environment and Climate Change. He currently serves as Associate Rapporteur of Question 15 on Adaptation to climate change among other related questions. His passion is in environmental safety especially on management of EWaste and ICT Raw material supply chain.
