The face-to-face training on "Broadband Access Network Planning" is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union and the Advance Level Telecom Training Centre, BSNL as part of the Broadband Access programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia Pacific Region. The training will be delivered in English language.
The objective of training is to equip participants with an understanding of current and future wireline and wireless broadband technologies, network architecture and its planning and implementation. The training will enable participants to understand wireless and wire-line broadband internet access network from ISPs perspective. After attending this program the participants shall develop the understanding of various broadband wireline and wireless Technologies, network elements, protocol standards, service providing, capacity planning , QoS implementation issues, billing and other support sub-systems.
This training is targeted at managers, engineers and employees from regulators, government organisations, telecommunication companies and academia, who are interested in understanding, the design, implementation and operational modalities of Broadband Network from ISP point of view.
