Experience
- Worked in Bhutan Ferro Alloys Limited for ten years. While in BFAL, pioneered to start the Marketing Department of the Company at its inception and served as Marketing Manager before voluntary resignation.
- Thereafter, worked in Singapore in an International Trading Company for four years specifically in trading of mineral based raw materials like coal and coke. While in Singapore, had opportunity to travel and work in neighboring countries like China, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and India for business purpose.
- After the expiry of contract with the Singaporean firm, worked as a consultant in Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Project for a year and thereafter ventured into private entrepreneurship in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education. Accordingly, set up the First Steps Early Learning Center at Phuentsholing in 2006 and expanded the same to Samtse and Gomtu.
Achievement
- Provost of the Foreign Students Federation in the University in 1993.
- In the year 1994, served as the Public Relations Officer of the same Federation.
- Attended National Graduates Orientation Program in 1995
- Attended International Foundry-men Congress Conference in Mumbai in 1996.
- Second Batch Militia Training in Tencholing in 1987
- Participated in the First Parliamentary Elections of Bhutan as an aspirant for the National Assembly seat in 2008.
