En la Recomendación UIT-T Z.167 se define una manera normativa de utilizar la Notación de sintaxis abstracta uno (ASN.1), tal como está definido en las Recomendaciones UIT-T X.680, UIT-T X.681, UIT-T X.682 y UIT-T X.683 con la TTCN-3. En esta Recomendación no se aborda la armonización de otros lenguajes con la notación TTCN-3.
