تحدد التوصية ITU-T Z.167 وسيلة معيارية لاستخدام قواعد التركيب المجردة رقم واحد (ASN.1) كما هي محددة في التوصيات ITU-T X.680 وITU-T X.681 وITU-T X.682 وITU-T X.683 مع الترميز TTCN-3. ولا تغطي هذه التوصية مواءمة اللغات الأخرى مع الترميز TTCN-3.
وتحتوي هذه المراجعة للتوصية على تعديلات وإيضاحات وتصويبات وتصحيحات صياغية.
