Official ITU TELECOM TV

The Official ITU TELECOM TV Provider, INM (Interactive New Media Ltd.), will be responsible for a full range of television services at ITU TELECOM AFRICA 2001.

Continuing on from the success of “Live TV” at TELECOM 99 + INTERACTIVE 99, the launch of ITU TELECOM TV at AMERICAS 2000 and the largest production yet at ASIA 2000, INM will once again provide the official on-site Event TV service for visitors and exhibitors at AFRICA 2001.

ITU TELECOM TV will broadcast live everyday from its purpose-built studio at the heart of the Gallagher Estate to a comprehensive network of strategically placed monitors and video walls throughout the venue and beyond. For the duration of AFRICA 2001 a dedicated ITU TELECOM TV production team, including reporters, camera crews and editors, will generate original programming consisting of keynote interviews, industry debates, exhibition news and business analysis. World news and international reports will be provided by INM’s international news partners.

ITU TELECOM TV will also be available online at www.telecomtv.itu.int, featuring streamed video of programme highlights from AFRICA 2001 and previous ITU TELECOM events. 

In addition to ITU TELECOM TV, INM will be providing a full Video News Release service for exhibitors, accessing broadcasters and agencies across the Africa region as well as globally.

INM’s services for AFRICA 2001 include a full range of on-site video production facilities available for production of exhibitor event videos.
