With rapid growth of our digital society and increasing use of electrical and electronic equipment, e-waste and the ICT sector’s carbon footprint has grown rapidly. The ITU-D Circular Economy, Environment and Climate Change programme covers the operation of activities and issues related to e-waste management through policy and regulation, data and statistics, and the role of ICTs in enhancing environmental sustainability for climate action.
