Такие технологии, как подвижная связь, интернет вещей, соединенные автомобили и города, четвертая промышленная революция и искусственный интеллект, зависят от сетей, услуг и приложений электросвязи и все чаще используют радиосвязь, чтобы обеспечить основу для повсеместного распространения возможностей установления соединений. Марио Маневич
Директор Бюро радиосвязи МСЭ

Марио Маневич вступил в должность Директора Бюро радиосвязи (БР) Международного союза электросвязи (МСЭ) на второй срок 1 января 2023 года.

В первый раз он вступил в эту должность в январе 2019 года после избрания на Полномочной конференции МСЭ 2018 года в Дубае, Объединенные Арабские Эмираты, и был переизбран на Полномочной конференции 2022 года в Бухаресте, Румыния.

Марио Маневич − инженер в области электроники, специализирующийся по электросвязи. Он проработал в МСЭ свыше 30 лет и занимал различные ответственные должности в Бюро радиосвязи и Бюро развития электросвязи, а также в региональных отделениях МСЭ.

В качестве Директора г-н Маневич отвечает за управление Бюро радиосвязи, которое организует и координирует работу Сектора радиосвязи, целью которого является обеспечение рационального, справедливого, эффективного и экономного использования радиочастотного спектра и спутниковых орбит.

До работы в МСЭ г-н Маневич занимал руководящую должность в компании, которая является основным оператором электросвязи в Уругвае, а также был доцентом на факультете инженерного дела ведущего университета Уругвая.

Г-н Маневич женат и имеет двоих детей. Он владеет испанским, английским, французским и португальским языками.
