International Day Girls in ICT is an opportunity for girls and young women to see and experience ICTs in a new light encouraging them to consider a future in technology. To date, over 111,000 girls and young women have taken part in more than 3,500 events held in 140 countries around the world.

Let's get the feeling and make something together!

Wowoman Tech TechXanim in cooperation with Azerbaijani Women in ICT Club "FEMMES DIGITALES" will invite you to try how easy is to start making your own APP.
Building mobile apps gives the girls a glimpse of the booming app industry and lets all of you experience creating something with technology.
At the ADA hosted an app building workshop, where girls could createapps of their choice.

App development is a natural fit for STEM, Technology, PBLs, critical thinking, and high order thinking areas. Imagine the dramatic change which could be possible in just a few years, once we remove the roadblock of the existing ICT curriculum. Instead of children bored out of their minds being taught how to use Word and Excel by bored teachers, we could have 11-year-olds able to write mobile applications.
By 16, they could have an understanding of formal logic previously covered only in University courses and be writing their own Apps for smartphones.

Wowoman Tech TechXanim and Femmes Digitales wants to make this happen.

Want to learn how to build apps in a day, without needing to know any code?
All you need is your laptop, internet connection and phone!

During the Workshop you will
• Design and prototype your idea
• Create your own mobile application
• Test it in your phone
• Publish your application in different environments.

No coding knowledge needed! Everybody can try!
Laptops are required.
Open for high School Studentsand first year undergraduates who are interested in Mobile Applications
