Over 50 girls from 6 secondary schools across Lagos participated in our April 23rd event. We showcased 3D printing technology, introduced girls to ICT careers, and held discussion around engaging girls in STEM in the Nigerian context. Many girls shared with us that they don’t get to learn about ICT careers even during school career fair days, and thanked us for the opportunity.
Over 400 girls from 26 schools across Imo State participated in our April 30th event. The highlight of the event was the keynote speech by Captain Chinyere Kalu, first Nigerian woman pilot. She shared her story and struggles she had overcome, which left many of our girls inspired. We also showcase 3D printing technology and introduced girls to ICT careers.
