Jordan, 2012, April 26​

The International Girls in ICT Day celebrations were organised in Jordan by  the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT).  All public universities were contacted to nominate female students in IT and Engineering (senior years), and private companies were contacted to host them.

Activities started at the MoICT at 9:00, where Minister H.E. Basem Rousan met with the 55 students that attended, and then they were transported to the Business Park using the MoICT bus.

The students were divided into 2 groups escorted by 2 leaders and 4 supervisors from MoICT, and visited 6 companies: Microsoft, HP, Rubicon, EHS, Oasis500 and the Gaming Lab.

Universities represented were from all over Jordan, and the students had a very informative experience.
