Open Consultation Process (OCP)
The WSIS Forum 2026, scheduled from 6 to 10 July in Geneva, Switzerland, will bring together stakeholders from around the world to accelerate progress in digital cooperation. Participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge, highlight innovative solutions, and engage in multistakeholder dialogue to develop roadmaps that advance WSIS Action Lines and global goals. Co-organized by ITU, UNESCO, UNDP, and UNCTAD, in partnership with more than 50 UN entities, the Forum remains the world’s leading multistakeholder platform for digital development and emerging technologies.
The Open Consultation Process (OCP) is an open and inclusive consultation with WSIS stakeholders aimed at preparing for the WSIS Forum 2026. This process is designed to help shape the event program, identify gaps in the implementation of the Geneva Plan of Action and the WSIS Action Lines, and help design a forward-looking roadmap for WSIS implementation.
All stakeholders are encouraged to actively engage in the OCP by participating in consultative meetings and submitting inputs through the official submission form.
