Rooted in the WSIS vision, this high-level plenary will reflect on progress in implementing the WSIS Action Lines and on the continued relevance of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) framework in guiding global digital cooperation in an increasingly interconnected world.

It will explore how leadership and multistakeholder engagement can help shape an inclusive, people-centred, and development-oriented information society, while addressing persistent digital divides and emerging opportunities brought by rapid technological transformation. The discussion will also highlight how digital innovation and cooperation can be harnessed to advance shared global development goals and ensure that no one is left behind in the digital transition, in line with the WSIS principles of inclusiveness, partnership, and sustainable development.
