UNIGE Trialogue Remodeling UN

UNIGE

Session 473

Tuesday, 7 July 2026 09:00–14:00 (UTC+02:00) Physical (on-site) participation only Innovation Hub, ITU Montbrillant Building Youth Track

The 2026 ReModelUN Workshop is all about developing new solutions for the Model United Nations (MUN), an international movement of over 1M high school and university students who organize UN-style negotiations every year. This is a youth community that is passionate about achieving peace through multilateral dialogue and progress through international cooperation.

This is the third edition of this event, organized by the ReModelUN Coalition, in collaboration with the ITU WSIS Forum. The focus this year is on leveraging responsible artificial intelligence to improve the experience and outcomes of MUN conferences and to assist UN partner agencies seeking youth feedback. The ambitious, long-term goal is to enable the MUN community to inspire and inform the work of the United Nations.

The ReModelUN Workshop is not an MUN conference, it is a place for stakeholders to discuss and develop the future of MUN, including youth who are active in MUNs, representatives of International Organisations and their Member States as well as AI experts from Academia and the Private Sector.
