Gerald Vernez is a Swiss (cyber)security expert and former senior official of the Swiss Armed Forces and MoD. He helped shape Switzerland’s cybersecurity strategy, developed information operations, and coordinated responses to major cyber incidents. Founder of the digiVolution Foundation and SONAR Partners SA, he advises governments, international organizations, and companies on risk, crisis management, and resilience. Gerald chairs also the Swiss Digital Pact association and promotes a holistic approach balancing AI, digital technologies, and critical resources, particularly energy.

Daniel Fasel is the CEO of Navique AG, a Swiss company specializing in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. He has more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing data strategies, analytical architectures, and data governance programs in highly regulated environments. 

With extensive leadership experience across industries, Susanne Emonet has built her career at the intersection of technology, strategy, and digital transformation. After executive roles including Director Corporate Strategy at Bosch and VP Strategy, Innovation & Digitalization at the Kudelski Group, a global leader in digital security, she co-founded Soveris, an organization advancing digital sovereignty with a focus on key technologies such as AI and strategic sectors, e.g. energy. Most recently, she led the strategic transformation of a digital traceability company into a regulatory compliance solutions provider, securing top-tier clients and guiding the company successfully to an exit. She specializes in translating emerging technologies into scalable business and societal impact.

Quentin Ladetto is the creator and director of the armasuisse Science and Technology foresight program, Deftech (https://deftech.ch). His work explores how artificial intelligence is expanding from content generation (Gen AI) to autonomous task execution (Agentic AI), interaction with the physical environment (Physical AI), and interaction with living systems (Bio-AI). This evolution makes energy a critical operational challenge, requiring AI systems and their users to operate in degraded modes.

Quentin holds a PhD in geomatics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), an Executive MBA in Finance from HEC Lausanne and a degree in Technology Management from IMD. He is the co-founder of atelierdesfuturs.org and a founding member of the association Futurs.

Paul Wang is Senior Executive at ICON.ngo, an international NGO advancing digital trust, AI, cybersecurity, and global cooperation, and Co-founder of Zenpulsar, an AI company developing intelligence solutions. His EPFL Master's research explored the application of neural networks to the management and optimization of electrical power grids. Over the past 30 years, at PwC, KPMG and EY, he has advised governments, international organizations, and leaders on cybersecurity, governance, and critical infrastructure resilience, including power grids, business continuity, and resilience. Today, his work focuses on applying AI to strengthen energy systems stakeholders by integrating data on commodities, natural resources, supply chains, and geopolitics into actionable intelligence that supports more resilient, secure, and sustainable decision-making.
