               2 Use Case Description

               21 Description

MoralQuest introduces a transformative AI-powered gamified mobile application that leverages 4.1-Healthcare
traditional Indian moral tales to enhance social behaviour in children with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) [1]. The solution integrates advanced machine learning and Natural Language
Processing (NLP) to deliver personalised interactive quests that adapt to each child's learning
pace and emotional state. Predictive analytics forecasts potential challenges to maintain optimal
engagement and foster targeted learning outcomes, dynamically adjusting difficulty levels. To
ensure accessibility and engagement for children with diverse sensory profiles, MoralQuest
employs a multi-modal delivery approach. Content is presented through a combination of
engaging visuals (illustrations, simple animations), clear auditory components (voice narration,
sound effects, optional music), and supportive text (on-screen instructions, optional subtitles).
Key interactions leverage intuitive touch-based controls. This combination allows the AI to
potentially personalize not just the content difficulty but also the preferred mode of presentation
for each child. Existing interventions typically rely on static, one-size-fits-all content that fails
to evolve with a child's unique needs & growth rate, resulting in disengagement and limited
progress. Traditional methods lack real-life feedback, personalization, and ongoing behaviour
assessment, which are key factors in the social and cognitive development of children with
               ASD [2].

This AI-powered approach continuously collects and analyses behavioural data from in-app
interactions as well as through periodic questionnaires. This data enables precise tailoring of
challenges and rewards, with a flexible mechanism integrating points, badges, and leaderboards
to prompt further development. The system refines cognitive, emotional, and social skills and
provides caregivers with actionable insights to support each child's development. The core
learning mechanism involves translating the morals embedded within these narratives into
concrete, actionable social skills. For example, a story about honesty might generate interactive
quests focusing on understanding truthfulness versus lying, recognizing associated emotions
(guilt, trust), and predicting social consequences within simplified scenarios derived from the
tale. The AI personalizes these quests to target specific social development goals relevant to
ASD, such as perspective taking, emotion recognition, or understanding social cues, using the
familiar and engaging context of the story [2].
