As is customary with Kaleidoscope conferences, Kaleidoscope 2024 is organized with the
technical co-sponsorship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the
IEEE Communications Society. All papers accepted and presented at the conference will be
included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. In addition, selected papers will be considered for
publication in a special-feature section of the IEEE Communications Standards Magazine.
Finally, I would like to thank the ITU team led by Thomas Basikolo and Alessia Magliarditi
and including Nitish Mishra, Emer Windsor, Erica Campilongo, and Maria Otero Larralde for
their unwavering support.
I am confident that Kaleidoscope 2024 will generate insightful discussions, foster collaboration,
and advance the role of technology in building a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous
