Abstract :

The purpose of this document is to present a report on the implementation of Decision 590 (ITU Council 590) and to submit to the Council, for consideration and, as appropriate, provisional approval, a cooperation agreement between ITU and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) whose purpose is to establish a formal framework for INTERPOL and ITU to cooperate, for their mutual benefit and within the scope of their respective mandates and resources, in building confidence and security in the use of ICTs.
