Summary: This draft provides recommendation for architecture and requirements to support seamless operation of mine supply chain using a combination of public and dedicated networks. IMT-2020 and beyond networks provide provisions to create dedicated networks with seamless convergence with public networks. However, the network system and service need to satisfy certain requirements to maintain a seamless experience. Such requirements also need to cater to the variations in mine-types, materials being transported, geographies, etc. This document recommends such requirements and provides a reference architecture to achieve the purpose to support mine supply chain. It also provides an overview of the necessary sensing mechanisms that need to be connected for different purposes under mobile and static scenarios.
