Recommendation ITU-T Y.4481 specifies data middle-platform (DMP) in IoT and smart sustainable cities (SSCs), and provides its common characteristics, general requirements and capability framework. DMP allows separation of the fundamental technical supporting capabilities from the business-related services, can aggregate and manage cross-domain data into services.
This draft new Supplement provides security requirement and capability of DMP defined in Recommendation ITU-T Y.4481. It is to enhance the data security protection capabilities during DMP’s operation and maintenance, and ensure the security of data services across various application domains in smart cities.
