Summary:
|
The rapid digitalisation of urban areas has driven the evolution of smart residential communities into siloed multi-service developments. Additionally, there are significant obstacles in the real world to overcome, including the redundant data collection and the inefficient cooperation between systems, which collectively undermine their efficacy. This requires cross-functional collaboration through systems integration and data sharing.
It is strategically vital to establish an ICT-based KPI assessment method for smart residential communities. This can enhance digital services and resources coordination. It can also facilitate cross-functional integration within a residential community and with the broader smart city.
This draft Recommendation outlines an assessment method for smart residential communities from the ICT perspective. It provides a set of key performance indicators for the quantitative assessment of smart residential communities, guiding their unified and coordinated development and encouraging collaboration between multiple residential systems to improve overall service efficiency in the communities.
