Summary: Facing intensifying labor constraints, rising operational costs, and escalating safety demands, industrial robotics is becoming important as a fundamental infrastructure in IoT scenarios, to address critical challenges where human reach their limits, including labor shortages & skills gaps, soaring operational costs, high-risk work hazards, and work in extreme environments. In this draft Recommendation, intelligent robots integrate the multi-robot collaboration, the collaboration between robot and other equipment in the local complex, the decision-making such as how to cooperate with other robots and other equipment, etc., and the dexterous execution. To satisfy the capability requirements of intelligent robots, this draft Recommendation proposes the capability framework of intelligent robots in the industrial scenarios and for IoT services. The application of intelligent robots is crucial to promote the digital and intelligent development of industry production. Relying on a strong AI-based technological foundation and the capability foundation of multi-robot collaboration, perception, etc., the intelligent robots can dynamically adapt to the industrial IoT environment. The purpose of the application of intelligent robots in industrial IoT scenarios is to significantly improve the production efficiency with the IoT system in the industry.
