The traditional cost-based tariff assessment method may have to be redefined in the context of the evolved technological and market landscape. The rise of bundled service economics and integrated service offerings has led to a paradigm shift in pricing models. As a result, there is a need to identify gaps in existing regulatory mechanisms and explore new approaches/options to ensure fair competition, innovation, affordability, consumer protection, and sustainable pricing in the evolving telecom landscape.
