Summary: ITU-T Q7/13 has finished studying framework of human-like networking and the corresponding draft new Recommendation has been published as Recommendation ITU-T Y.3680. Q7/13 has also set up two other work items to study requirement of human-like networking (ITU-T Y.HLN-Req) and functional architecture of human-like networking(ITU-T Y.HLN-FunArch). Comprehensive and collaborative awareness mechanisms are very important and beneficial to HLN. On the one hand, if the awareness mechanisms of HLN have clearly been described, there is a useful guide for designing detailed procedures, methods and process of HLN self-awareness functions and realizing and deploying of relevant network capability related to HLN. On the other hand, self-awareness is also the basis of self-governance and self-evolution, and comprehensive and collaborative awareness can also support implementation of high-level functions of HLN. This draft Recommendation targets to specify comprehensive and collaborative awareness mechanisms of HLN including general awareness mechanism of HLN, comprehensive awareness mechanism of HLN, collaborative awareness mechanism of HLN and other aspects related to awareness mechanism of HLN etc.
