This draft Recommendation introduces a new work item on requirements of IoT-based smart warehousing management system (SWMS). IoT-based smart warehousing management system has the ability to facilitate precise item location, rapid inventory management, real-time logistics monitoring, and maintenance of appropriate storage conditions. In general, this draft recommendation focuses on the requirements of IoT infrastructures in SWMS to improve work efficiency in warehousing by raising the digital level in warehouse management.
