Summary:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered Internet of Things (IoT), referred to as Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), is the combination of AI technologies with the IoT infrastructure to achieve more efficient IoT operations, improve human-machine interactions and enhance data management and analytics. From a comprehensive review of existing standardization efforts on AI and IoT, this Recommendation describes concepts, characteristics, technical features and approaches of AIoT. Then, it presents a conceptual model for AIoT.
