The sensing devices for different areas of city infrastructures can monitor the whole status of the city. With analysis and sharing between different areas, city infrastructure can be better managed. This Recommendation provides the requirements and presents a data model for data originating from city infrastructure. It is aimed at bolstering smart city operations through the implementation of standardized and interoperable data management practices. The Recommendation outlines the pivotal categories of data such as sensing, networking, device control, processing, and linkage management data, along with their specific requirements across diverse city infrastructure domains. The data model defines the core data entities and their relationships within the sensing and data collection system in city infrastructures.
